Maame Serwaa Boateng is the only female Director at this time and she is an invaluable asset to the group. Maame, as she is affectionately called, prides herself as the soothing voice of reason.
As a mother of two young kids herself, ADEF’s mission of empowering the younger generation falls within her personal goals and aspirations. She loves the smiles that these little gestures put on the faces of these kids. Maame believes, each human being should live for something bigger than one self so accepting to serve under ADEF’s umbrella it’s such a fulfilling mission.
Maame has worked many years as a Human Resource Director and recently graduated with a degree in nursing from George Mason University. As a Registered Nurse, Maame aspires to establish a non-profit midwifery clinic in her native country-Ghana in the near future.
