Dr. Richard S. Boadi is an engineering consultant with 19 years of experience focusing on strategic management of highway transportation infrastructure. His love for transportation is deeply rooted in his innate passion for serving the public interest, especially for the underprivileged. Dr. Boadi was appointed Director of ADEF in 2020 after years of commitment to charity work. He has led and contributed to charitable fundraising initiatives to support those in need. Richard has more than 1,000 hours of volunteer activities as a soccer coach and mentor to young kids.
Richard’s interest in charity and the need for better education began in his youth. At a very young age, Richard saw his mother adopt little kids into their home to provide them with education and an opportunity to learn some trade. Today, many of these people have grown to be independent individuals due to the little act of kindness of his mother, which has always motivated him to help others.
Dr. Boadi believes that the path to a successful career is through better, early education and motivation. This is the reason why he bought into the strong vision of ADEF and to help make it a reality for others.
